Our Daylilies
- The Day Lily Cottage Day Lilies
Below are a selection of the Daylilies which bloom every
year here at the Day Lily Cottage and you could say we owe our
business to them. Everyone that visits us throughout the
summer months notices the wonderful selection of flowers in
our flower beds and we hope to offer daylily bulbs, seeds and
plants for sale in the near future.
The Daylily family comprises of the Hemerocallis genus of
plantlife, the origins of which name can be found in the Greek
language where hemera means "day" and kalos means
"beautiful", and it is indeed true that when they
bloom it is invariably a "Beautiful Day!".
Daylilies are some of the most adaptable plants and can be
grown in USDA plant hardiness zones 1 through 11.

very similar look to the Arrakis Sunset but with
slightly more pronounced color variations having strong
